TWO ARMIES COOPERATION POSSIBLE! US Army Commander for Europe General lieutenant colonel Frederik Ben Hogiz, who was invited by the `Club of the Serbian-American friendship`, has visited the City of Niš, and addressed to the members of this Club in the Hall of the University of Nis. Before visiting Nis, American general, together with the commander of Serbian Army Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic, visited the Base South where he opened a Center for the simulation that United States donated Serbia. Center for Simulation, donation worth 2.1 million dollars, which the US military has provided Base South, includes trainer machine for shooting, 3D simulator virtual fighting, medical simulator, a media center and vehicles. This will serve to train soldiers who will be staying in the Base. Training Center in Base South has a great potential, such as the great opportunities in cooperation of Serbian and US Army on several tracks in joint training, demining, joint exercises, stressed the commander of the land army for Europe. As it was pointed out by Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic, host of the visit of General Hogiz in Serbia, South Base is very important for the security of the south of the country. This meeting was attended by the president of Palilula, Boban Džunić. First Vice President of the Club of Serbian-American friendship, Dragan Milosevic presented General Frederick Hogiz the book on Serbian monasteries "The book of Serbian monasteries" with the blessing of Patriarch Pavle and Nis director Zeljko Mirkovic CD with his film "The Second Encounter," a documentary about Serbian and American soldier.
